As a Lawyer:
As a relatively new organization, the Kane County Bar Foundation spends a significant amount of time trying to raise funds to begin its work in the community. Of course, further funds are needed and would be appreciated. Equally important, however, is a donation of your time and energy.
Your participation gives you an opportunity to give back to the community which supports us, to remember the integrity of our profession, and to educate our neighbors, our family and our friends.
We need your help. Each of the committees needs your ideas, your enthusiasm and creativity, and your hands to help implement our goals.
As a Member of the Kane County Community:
In order for the Kane County Bar Foundation to be successful, we need the participation of lawyers and non-lawyers. Since we seek to address the needs of the entire Kane County community by way of programs, education, and funding, it is essential that we receive feedback from members of the community to let us know what those needs are.
Those of you who are interested in helping out can become members of any or all of the committees, attend the monthly Foundation meetings, or simply contact a Foundation member to pass on ideas and suggestions.
